Job description: Cost Controller




•Liaise with Project Cost Coordinator and participate to the evaluation of the Project budget based on EPSCCs invoicing schedule, management of EPSCC’s cost reports and ensure consistency for quantities and figures,

•Validate the Project related commitments, with allocation of costs to the Work Breakdown Structure,

•Calculate the NGN/USD exchange rate gain or loss on NGN part of EPSCC contract,

•Evaluate the impact on Estimated Final Cost,

•Reconcile EPSCC’s accounts with Project accounts,

•Improve the quality of the reporting of value of work done and forecasts against budget,

•Monitor the Project related performances through SAP system and Excel files,

•Participate to the identification and anticipation of major changes, propose corrective actions in order to avoid or minimise packages costs impact during Project,

•Follow up of Change orders, update of related POs,

•Collaborate with the Project Cost Coordinator to the update and revision of subsidiary and Joint Venture budget and consolidation phases,

•Prepare all costs aspects for Project reporting at month end,

•Participate to Project audits with regard to Cost Control activities,

•HSEQ commitment:

•Support and enforce the Company Group & TEPNG "Codes of Conduct", "Charters", "Policies", "Directives",

•Support and implement the Project HSEQ management system (objectives, plans, procedures, specifications, …),

•Report any unsafe acts or conditions observed.



Requirements: Cost Controller



•Minimum of 5 years recent experience in cost control activities in the oil and gas industry.

•Proficient in the use of Excel and SAP systems.

•Excellent Communication (English language written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Self confidence, patience under adversity, along with the ability to work to deadlines.

•Work with limited supervision, autonomy is compulsory.



Terms & Conditions Cost Controller

•One year renewable contract

•Open to Nigerian nationals only
